Gina - reading this the morning before Cyclone Alfred is due to visit.

An image of you from your book - going out into that storm as a young woman and glorying in it - has been coming to me sporadically, medicinally. I find myself going into a freaked out huddle and then I see you in my minds eye, glorying. It’s allowing my being to be more open, less tight and compressed. Thankyou for being such a beautiful empowering role model. I’ll probably set up my hiking tent inside the safest spot in the house tonight. Not exactly planning to be out there glorying!! But reminding myself of the times I’ve been out in wild weather in that snug little cocoon, might allow me to be more open than closed when the big wild earth energies come howling.

Thank you Gina. Soooo timely. I had a public meltdown over the weekend, and I'm filled with shame and guilt about it. I showed others my darkest shadows and felt vulnerable, embarrassed, and stupid. I'm still finding the gift of that moment, but for now, shame is teaching me something. Thank you for shining the light to help me direct out of it

This is beautiful, Gina. And timely. Overwhelm is a constant companion for me these days, and I guess for many of us. I'm gradually learning to feel it coming, to tune into the bodily sensations and catch it before it catches me. It sneaks up on my writing time, thoughts, worries, tensions but then I get up and go for a walk in the bush, which I'll do now, carrying your words close.

So beautiful written Gina. I was watching the waxing moon the other night thinking exactly of this … that I’ve needed to withdraw for what seems like a very long time … and like seasons and moons … my time to return to the light is here… and it will continue to be a dance of light and dark. That’s how it all works…. Your words confirmed it all ! Thank you sister 🙏🏻

Thank you so much. Halfway through reading I stopped and allowed myself that moment of rest, and it powerfully turned my morning around. I was astonished how profound that gesture was in its simplicity. The times we live in make us inclined to think that things have to be complicated and complex in order to work - yet it isn't so at all, if not the exact opposite. One moment at a time. Thank you!

Although we haven't met in person, I watched your journey through the "alone" series and felt your deep connection to the land would reward you with a successful outcome.. I also missed out meeting you when you attended the Woodfordia festival but saw just how engaged and connected you were to all who were there.

I have purchased your book and look forward to reading about your adventures, trials and incredibly interesting journey of life..

Kind regards Alan P
